its so difficult for me to spend more than five minutes on this site for some reason. i remember back in the day when i used to be on here forever.

i'm more frequently using fa/my three-point-one-four account over there. the submission process is less complicated and there seems to be a higher concentration of people willing to give constructive feedback, and the simplicity of the site allows for easier communication.

the only downside is that the site is mainly for anthro-art, and i draw just as much humanoid stuff but feel silly uploading it there since that's definitely not what most people are interested in and i'd rather not be a bother and flood their inboxes with my silly comic concepts and ideas.

i guess i'm sort of self-concious about putting my human stuff up here, as well. most people remember me as someone who drew a lot of anime and anime-ish stuff for a long time, but my tastes have really changed over the years and my style's developed into something totally different. i'll be honest and say i've been a little offended at the feedback i've recieved when i have put it up from time to time; things like 'i miss your anime art' and 'what happened to your catboys?' i guess i just outgrew it. my ichabod character from back in the day is kind of a non-entity and i've used his elements to create something new for a graphic novel i hope to one day begin work on. i'm really not into the whole vampires/dark romance thing, nor could i care less about 'bishies' like i did in high school. i don't roleplay anymore, and i lost interest in characters-as-couples and journal storylines or messageboard sites. i'm sorry if you and i ever did the character-couple thing and all of the sudden i disappeared and didn't seem to care; i just didn't want to hurt anyones' feelings and i guess i went about it the wrong way.

so yeah. i apologize to the people i've disappointed or let down in the past. i now have a lot of free time since having moved to florida and i'm trying to leave the past behind me and start with a clean slate in a new place.
